The Air Jordan 15 (XV) Original (OG) - White / Columbia Blue - Black were released on February 5, 2000, and retailed for $150. They feature a white upper constructed from leather and woven mesh, which is really the most interesting part about the shoe. Besides that, the shoe is not really cared for too much, as they feature a shabby design, which includes a loose midsole, allowing for the wearer’s ankle to turn easily on a sharp turn or cut. The inspirations behind these come from the ultra fast X-15 Fighter Plane. Others believe that they are cheap Prada knockoffs, as they feature the red strip running vertically down the heel counter. Many refer to the as the ugliest Air Jordans to date, and they're right. Other problems specifications include a hidden lace system, seamless dynamic fit sleeve and Zoom Air insoles. They also feature an injected TPR external heel counter for additional support. The outsole is constructed from two pieces with extended wraps, as well as rubber herringbone pods for increased traction, which is one of the nicer features of the shoe.
