The Air Jordan 5 (V) Retro Low WMNS - White / University Blue - Team Red were released on January 20, 2007 and retailed for $120. They did not sell as well, as many stores were even forced to put them on clearance at one point. They would have probably sold better as a men’s release, but then again who really knows. They feature an all white leather upper, with metallic silver shark teeth designs at the midsole. The Air Jordan 5 (V) is rumored to have been inspired by the World War II Mustang Fighter plane, and the shark teeth are the most obvious elements.
