The Air Jordan 8 (VIII) Retro LS - Pea Pods (Midnight Navy / Orange Blaze - Pea Pod) was released on September 29, 2007, and retailed for $150. They were a LS or Lifestyle release, meaning they were only released in men sizes. The have been dubbed different nicknames, including the Pea Pods, after the official colorway, and the Chicago Bears, because they feature the same colors as the NFL team. The feature a navy blue durabuck upper with orange outlining, and green contrast stitching, which are both very nice touches. the orange midsole sits on a navy blue outsole which look good together. This is definitely one of the nicer and more interesting colorways of the Air Jordan 8 (VIII). Besides the looks, these also consist of features such as anti-inversion cross straps, a poly carbonate torsion plate, air sole, and an inner sock similar to the Nike Air Huarache.
