The Air Jordan 9 (IX) Original (OG) - White / Black - Dark Powder Blue was released in 1993, and retailed for $125. They are a bit simpler than other colorways in the Air Jordan 9 (IX) line- up, featuring a white leather upper with blue midsole. In interesting feature is the stitching on the upper, which although is not a contrast stitching, still stands out a lot, as it seems to follow a patter. The bottom of shoe, ironically, is the most detailed and nicest part of shoe. It feature a load of details, including the year 1994, different logos and even inspiring words in other languages. According to Tinker Hatfield, the Air Jordan 9 (IX) represented the globalization of th Air Jordan brand name, which would explain the use of other languages on the outsole.
